Managing Text Messages for Multiple Locations
With text messaging enabled in NextPatient, it is important to monitor the incoming messages from patients to remain responsive. If your office does not publicize your text message number to clients, typical responses from patients may include: feedback about their appointment, questions about check in protocols, wrong number notifications, and more. If you offices does publicize your text message number, then the responses can vary to anything from request for information like pricing and availability, post operative help, and much more. In either case, it is important to monitor the Texting inbox.
If you have multiple offices, here is a helpful trick offered by one of our clients that thought others could benefit from their efficiency.
The following was exampled through Google Chrome but will work in most web browsers that support tabs and bookmark/favorite folders.
Setting up the process:
Create a new folder in your Bookmarks bar.
Go to https://nextpatient.co/admin and sign into your account
Go to the “Texting” page for the first desired location
Bookmark the page into the folder you created in step 1
Repeat steps 2-4 for each desired location.
Monitoring all site at once:
Go to https://nextpatient.co/admin and sign into your account
Right click on the Bookmark folder in your favorites
Select “Open All (x) in New Window” → (x) will include the number of bookmarked locations
Once the pages have loaded, look for the (+) or (#) on each tab to indicate new, unread messages.
