Issues with your browser or website:
Ensure you're running the most updated version of your browser
Make sure that one of your plug-ins is not making the page load incomplete (some privacy & ad-blocks do this)
Clear the browser cache. Be cautious with this as it can clear our your saved logins and require you to enter usernames and passwords again
Issues with your computer:
It is a good practice to regularly restart your computer, at the very least weekly
Ensure that you don't have too many tabs or program running, slowing down the computer
If issues persist, check with your IT department or vendor to ensure the hardware is functioning properly and there are not malicious programs installed
Issues with Wi-Fi/modem/wireless router :
Just like your computer, power cycling your internet devices is a good way to clear out a lot of issues. While no one in the office is utilizing the Wi-FI, power cycle the Wi-Fi by unplugging the power for 10-15 seconds. Once you plug it back in, give it 2-5 minutes to start working again.
Depending on your internet service provider and hardware, you might be experiencing service delays, if issues persist, it is a good idea to reach out to them.
Issues with NextPatient:
Review with your office staff to see if any recent changes have been made, often a partial change in your PM or NextPatient accounts can cause the function to not work completely
Access NextPatient and go to the Settings tab. Click Interface. Click Reload practice data. Confirm by clicking the same button, Reload practice data, on the new page and wait for a few moments for the page to reload.
