In most circumstances, we recommend having a professional web developer or maintenance company assist you with editing your site and adding the widget code, but we understand that not every company has someone available to reach out to for support. In this article, we will review the basic steps for adding the widget to your WordPress website.

Instructions

  1. After logging into your website (often accessible at www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin), click on Pages from the left hand side.

  2. Select the page intended to display the NextPatient widget such as your location page or home page.

  3. Locate the section of the page where the widget will be intended. Click on the "+" symbol near the top-left corner, scroll down to the "Widget" section, and then click on "Shortcode"

  4. Paste the widget code into the block that is created.

  5. When the page appears as desired, click the Preview or Update button on the top-right corner. NOTE: Update will make the change live on your website.

WARNING: Again, it is important to note that NextPatient recommends having a professional web developer or maintenance company perform the website changes and is not responsible for any unintended changes.
