If the staff try to use a Block appointment type where precision templates are in place, it will add the appointment as a new slot and does not take the existing slot provided by the template. (As shown in the image below.) To prevent this, the “block” appointment type or its equivalent needs to be added to the template rules as an allowed appointment type to be used in the template. If it happens in a non precision template slot it will take the slot, effectively blocking it from online scheduling. |
